the house: film adaptation

Every space tells a story. This past semester, we were tasked with selecting a film, analyzing a character’s living space, and recreating it through architectural plans and a physical model. I chose “The House”, a Netflix stop-motion film and focused on Jen, a character voiced by Helena Bonham Carter.

Inspired by her bohemian apartment, I analyzed its configuration, architectural components, furniture, and decor. I translated these elements into scale plans and a physical model.
