thresholds
march 2025
A surface is the ultimate threshold —where time acts, where perception fractures, where reality is revealed but never wholly grasped. Paper thin, yet containing infinite depth. A threshold is not an invitation for entry—it is an endless hall to be traversed. To traverse this threshold, and thus to seek an end, is to risk a fugue, to acknowledge the instability of what was once assumed to be fixed. Live in the gray, question the distorting shadows—or become one. The threshold is where this reflection amorphizes, its recognition detached from the moment before or after.
